Are you good at everything you do? If you had to list your personal weaknesses, what would be on that list? Would it be things that were physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual? Whether we like to admit it or not, we all experience struggles in our life that hold us back, or in some cases, hold us down. Many of us do a good job of hiding or compartmentalizing those difficulties, while others wear them on their sleeve like a badge of honor. I have obvious physical defects that manifest themselves physically, such as my amputated leg and the scars on my hands and forearms from the thousands of needle sticks I have received during my 11-year cancer journey. Other imperfections are buried inside my body or under clothing, such as the tumors in my lungs and my numerous surgical scars. While many people might look at those scars and cringe at their ugliness, I am proud of those wounds. I have earned every one of them and they represent a struggle I had to find a way through. In almost every case, I came out on the other side of that battle stronger and more resilient. Watch this video about using your weaknesses in a way that allows you to never be defeated. Also, please leave me a comment below about how you use the struggles and difficulties in your life to make you stronger and more resilient.
