What makes a good leader? What characteristics do you look for in a leader? Would it be decisiveness, or honesty, or possibly, confidence? What about a good-natured approach to people and problems? If you were asked to list the top ten traits of a leader, would being good-natured even make your list? Having a good-natured disposition, especially under pressure, is one of the most important qualities we can possess. Unfortunately, many people believe they have to be gruff or demanding in order to appear firm and decisive. But when it comes to dealing with people, there are very few things that can't be accomplished with a pleasant approach.
