Been Absent A Few Days...Here's Why

Many of you have asked why I haven't posted a Thought for the Day in a few days and I am now able to respond to all of you who were kind enough to enquire. Due to my compromised immune system from my cancer and its treatment, I made the decision to get the third (booster) injection of the Moderna vaccine to help me against the coronavirus. My immune response put me in the hospital for two days with profuse vomiting, fever, shaking, and diarrhea. As bad as my reaction was, I would do it again, because, as several nurses told me, COVID is ten times worse than any reaction you might experience. It is still going to take me several days to regain my strength. But I would like to ask everyone who has the ability, to get immunized against this terrible disease.
