Do you only speak when you truly have something to say? According to William Frederick Book, the six laws of work are:
1. A person must drive his energy, not be driven by it. 2. A person must be master of his hours and days, not their servant. 3. The way you push things through to a finish effectively must be learned. 4. A person must earnestly want. 5. Never permit failure to become a habit. 6. Learn to adjust yourself to the conditions you have to endure, but make a point of trying to alter or correct conditions so that they are most favorable to you. “The people who are bullying you, they’re insecure about who they are, and that’s why they are bullying you. It never has to do with the person they are bullying. They desperately want to be loved and be accepted, and they go out of their way to make people feel unaccepted so they are not alone.” - Madelaine Petsch

What have you put in your soul to nourish your spirit? Kentucky Fried Chicken
Once, there was an older man, who was broke, living in a tiny house and owned a beat- up car. He was living off of $99 monthly social security checks. At 65 years of age, he decided things had to change. So, he thought about what he had to offer. His friends raved about his chicken recipe. He decided that this was his best shot at making a change in his life. He left Kentucky and traveled to different states to try to sell his recipe. He told restaurant owners that he had a mouthwatering chicken recipe. He offered the recipe to them for free, just asking for a small percentage on the items sold. Sounds like a good deal, right? Unfortunately, not to most of the restaurants. He heard “NO” over 1000 times. Even after all of those rejections, he didn’t give up. He believed his chicken recipe was something special. He got rejected 1009 times before he heard his first “yes.” With that one success, Colonel Harland Sanders changed the way Americans eat chicken and Kentucky Fried Chicken, popularly known as KFC, was born. Remember, never give up and always believe in yourself in spite of rejection. www.livin3.com/5-motivational-and-inspiring-short-stories “The key is to keep company only with people who uplift you, whose presence calls forth your best.” - Epictetus
