“Prejudice is a burden that confuses the past, threatens the future and renders the present inaccessible.” - Maya Angelou
Are the burdens of your prejudices preventing you from achieving your dreams? Did you ever stop to consider the impact of what you do today will have on future generations? The things you do, the things you say, the things you create...what will future generations say about the foundation you have established for them to build upon? Here is what English writer, John Ruskin (1819-1900), had to say about the legacy of what we leave behind:
"When we build, let us think that we build forever. Let it not be for present delight, nor for present use alone; let it be for such work as our descendants will thank us for; and let us think, as we lay stone on stone, that a time is to come when those stones will be held sacred because our hands have touched them, and that men will say as they look upon the labor and wrought substance of them, "See, this our fathers did for us!" “Consider the rights of others before your own feelings, and the feelings of others before your own rights.” - John Wooden
Do you put the feelings of others before your own rights? “You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Will your next kindness be too late?

“Our thoughts create our reality – where we put our focus is the direction we tend to go.” - Peter McWilliams
What reality are your thoughts creating? Living One Day At A Time
by Dale Carnegie You and I are standing this very second at the meeting place of two eternities: the vast past that has endured forever, and the future that is plunging on to the last syllable of recorded time. We can’t possibly live on either of those eternities – no, not even for one split second. But, by trying to do so, we can wreck both our bodies and our minds. So, let’s be content to live the only time we can possibly live: from now until bedtime. “Anyone can carry his burden, however hard, until nightfall,” wrote Robert Louis Stevenson. “Anyone can do his work, however hard, for one day. Anyone can live sweetly, patiently, lovingly, purely, till the sun goes down. And this is all that life really means.” “If we are to achieve results never before accomplished, we must expect to employ methods never before attempted.” - Francis Bacon
Do you practice “outside the box” thinking? There's no thrill in easy sailing when the skies are clear and blue,
There's no joy in merely doing things which any one can do. But there is some satisfaction that is mighty sweet to take, When you reach a destination that you thought you'd never make. Spirella “If you think you can or if you think you can’t, either way you are right.” - Tony Robbins
What thoughts can you admit into your mind that will cause you to be successful? “Egotism is the anesthetic which nature gives us to deaden the pain of being a fool.” - Dr. Herbert Schofield
Do you consider yourself better than others? “Nobody grows old by merely living a number of years; people grow old only by deserting their ideals.” - Samuel Ullman
