"I can't save people who don't want to change," is a truth many people learn after exhausting themselves trying to "fix" a spouse, a child, or a friend.
"I don't actually communicate my needs," is something people learn when they expect others to "just know" what they need. This mindset often leads to disappointment or resentment. "Time doesn't heal everything - effort and honesty do," is something people struggle with because they aren't ready or willing to do the hard work to heal themselves. Many truths are learned the hard way because people aren't willing to do what is necessary to dispel their dysfunction and live their truths. They keep making the same mistakes over and over, thinking things will turn out differently. Leave a post about a time when you learned a truth the hard way. Great answers may be featured in a follow-up post. Also, get your copy of: Four Truths and a Lie, Ancient Wisdom For Living Your Modern Purpose, to learn how to live your truths.
