All of us have abilities and disabilities.
We are good at some things and not so good at others. Some of us are physically unable to do things the way everyone else does because we have a disability.
My disability is that I have had my leg amputated and I have cancerous tumors in my lungs but I found a way to write a book and speak on the importance of controlling your mind. Helen Keller was deaf and blind but became an outspoken advocate for people with disabilities. John Nash has acute paranoid schizophrenia but is a Noble-prize winning mathematician and economist.
Our disabilities can define us as positively or negatively as our abilities. It all depends how we see ourselves and how we expect to be seen by others. We tend to see what we are looking for.
